As I sit here with my hot cocoa near the warm fire, with the wind howling outside, I ponder over which items on my wish list I'll be gifted with this year. I hope my husband knows that I really wanted that watch I pointed out to him at the counter at Macys. And the fact that I kept telling him that my iPad 2 took too much space in my purse implied I wanted the iPad Mini.
Yesterday I went to the mall and it was extremely hectic. It took us about 30 mins just to find a parking spot. The lines were long and I kept on regretting the fact that I had not attempted to finish my shopping much earlier. As I passed by the Apple Store I was suprised as to how extremely busy it was. Thank God, I got all my gadgets early. Looking into the Apple store I could not believe that the stock has gone down so much! As stated in the news, Apple Products were the most popular products purchased for the holidays. They must be doing something right. The phone booths in the middle of the mall were quite busy too. There was a lot of attention being given to the Samsung products as well as the new Windows tablet-- the Surface. As I've seen the commercials in the past, I was curious as to how it actually worked. It is definitely not a bad tablet although I chuckled when the sales representative told me I could purchase most apps in the "Microsoft Store". What an original name.
Each Holiday season comes and goes. As do birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and other occassions. I used to feel guilty looking at the older models of my phones and other electronics sitting on the shelf.
