› What steps should I take before selling my iPhone XS?
  1. Backup your iPhone XS to your computer or use Apple's iCloud Backup Service. This way all your data can be transferred over to your new device.
  2. Erase your iPhone XS and be sure to to confirm Find my iPhone has been turned off.
